xJeannette Remak and Joesph Ventolo Jr. are co-authors of several aviation books. They created their company Phoenix Aviation Research, while working on their first book that was published in 1998. They both work on a case-by-case basis to assist researchers, writers, historians, producers, and film companies in their quest for aerospace information. Remak, a military aviation historian, has written a number of aerospace/aviation books, and articles. She also worked as a consultant for the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and other museums. She is an artist in the U.S. Air Force Art Program. In addition, co-author Ventolo is a military aviation historian and a retired Chief Curator of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. He has written a number of aviation articles for such periodicals as Air Force Magazine, Warbirds International Magazine, and Aero News Photo. He also co-authored articles that appeared in such periodicals as Air Enthusiast, WW I Aero, and Friends Bulletin.
