Bladedance of the Immortals (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798302773029)

As alliances shift, families fracture, and Pandora closes in, Nick must decide what he stands for, what path he will take, and if he can be the God of Death that the universe expects him to be.

Nicodemus and his friends have been sent to the Human Realm and must prove themselves as the next Gods-to-be through various trials. Their mission is simple in theory, brutal in practice. They must survive the God's trial, face their demons, and prove their worth as Successors to the great Original Gods.

While on his first task, Nick meets a new Elemental who has closer connections to his God journey than he thinks, a new card dealt into the deck that seems to always be stacked against him. Who exactly is Xenobia, and how does she turn the tables on everything Nick understands about his role as a God-to-be? Nick must decide how he wants to fit into the unforgiving universe that seems to have it out for him, and whether or not he's cut out to be a true God.

Numerous questions need answers. Are he and Odysseus really meant to be, and what does their future look like after spending two years apart? How will Nick's experiences on Earth shape him? What happens when more Original Gods come into the fray, and are they really on Nick and his friend's side after all?

Nick's journey is only beginning, and as he battles the impossibility of his existence, he must learn how he fits into the grand scheme of things as not just a God, but a single soul in a very large universe.

"Wow, just wow. The ending of this book took my breath away. I could not believe the cliff hanger it leaves off at, but it leaves me wanting more. The development of these characters was incredible; Odysseus especially has changed so much, and you can tell the kids are growing more and more as the story continues. The spicy scenes were so romantic and sweet, but gave enough that they were still a good read. Book three cannot come out fast enough!" -Goodreads reviewer

"Great continuation of the story. I feel like there is so much room to expand in the next book but we are given so much to work with as well. Love that Nicodemus and Odysseus are finding themselves and blossoming into such a nice relationship. I feel for them with everything that's happened and can't wait to see Odysseus kick some major buns." -Goodreads reviewer
