Blooms, Blunders, and Blessings: : Revised and Expanded (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9780984985937)

Do you want to feel the fresh air, the cool greens, the vibrant colors of your garden again? You created one of the most beautiful gardens on the block. Neighbors loved to gather in your garden, admire your accomplishments, and talk about your green thumb. Now you feel trapped, prisoner of a body or a job that no longer permits you to pursue your favorite pastime. You still admire the beauty as you look through the windows...or maybe you no longer have a garden, or a window to look through. Oh how you long to be in the garden again! You can experience it all through Blooms, Blunders, and Blessings. You can feel the joy of seeing that first robin hopping among your crocus, pecking at worms invisible to you, eyeing you from the neighbor's fence. You can feel again the wonder of standing beneath the luxuriant green leaves of a white Calla Lily, or wonder about the miracle of a broken tree somehow healed. Wouldn't you like to experience again the exuberance of a luxuriant garden? Read this book today. Join Marjorie as she turns an empty landscape into a welcoming garden. Watch her study the gardening catalogs and struggle to stay within her budget. See how she copes with her garden after an accident, or the death of her mother. Marjorie has invited her dear sister Mona Armas and her oldest son Doug Skelton to share some of their garden writing and included it in this book as an added treat.
