Blue Sniffer (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781919248103)

Bagley Carter, a talented photographer, has synaesthesia. It makes him smell colours. He is desperate to escape drab brown Sleighton, a dying English town. Bagley needs tantalising turquoise. He idealises the lush blue South Pacific and is lured there by Krista Hecht - a powerful, seductive heiress with a dark past.

Bagley arrives and thinks he has found paradise. But Krista draws him into her covert world of unsettling truths, tangled loyalties, scientific ambition and eco-politics. As desire mixes with danger, Bagley's illusions fade. Beauty hides crime. Pollution poses as perfection.

Tangled in Krista's web, Bagley must choose whether to stay and help protect the most beautiful place, on Earth. Britain may be breaking, but is paradise the right place to be?
