Bollywood Outsider - A Success Story (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789370189454)

Bollywood Outsider - A Success Story tells the remarkable journey of Dr. Sushrut Almast, a medical doctor, who ventured into Bollywood filmmaking without any industry connections. The film, originally named Vyakul in 1991, was shelved but later rebranded as Nirnayak - The Decider in 1993. After overcoming numerous challenges, it was finally released in theaters in 1997-98, becoming a box-office hit. Featuring a unique "Clash of Titans" between Om Puri and Amrish Puri, the film has since gained massive popularity, with over 16 million views on YouTube and a 7/10 rating on IMDB. In an industry where less than 5% of outsiders succeed, this book highlights their struggles and the eventual success of Nirnayak - The Decider. Bollywood Outsider - A Success Story is an inspiring, informative read for industry outsiders, industry insiders, aspiring filmmakers, and cinema enthusiasts worldwide.
