It's 18th century London, and Russian Wampyr Boris Alexeyev is returning to the home of the McCabe's for another meal and another victim. But instead of finding easy prey, the 800-year-old vampire finds Patricia, the woman of his dreams, stake in hand. Taking a fresh direction in a familiar genre, their tale tells of divergent worlds coming together in a story that is frightening, funny, and, in the end, heartwarming. M. M. Smith's Boris and Patricia weaves an intricate tapestry of cultures, memorable and eccentric characters, and real-world events that will leave captivated readers hungry for more. Second Edition 2012

A life long aficionado of horror and fantasy, M. M. Smith began the chronicles of Boris and Patricia as a series of stories shared around the dinner table to entertain her teen and college-aged daughters. They demanded a different kind of vampire story, catering to their communal love of history and cultures. Eventually friends and classmates were listening too, and suggesting it all be written down in some sort of chronicle, so others might share in that which had delighted them so thoroughly. And so it began... M.M. Smith is a widow living in Northern California with her three daughters and The Stupid Cat.
