As the prison door slammed behind me, I found myself with plenty of time on my hands to think about how my life had taken such a traumatic turn. I was incarcerated and charged with a double homicide. I would learn that those unearthly creatures that chased me throughout my lifetime were all part of the generational curses that traveled through my familial bloodline. I began writing this in September of 2011 after seeing part of it in a dream. The Lord woke me up and said, "Write it down so that you do not forget it." I did so and peacefully drifted off to sleep again. Because I was instructed to write it down, I knew there was something to it. I took the one scene that I saw in the dream and prayed about it. From there, God began to give me what to write around it. I wrote the first five chapters and then it happened: I went blank! I put it away for years until I met with a talented young man named Seann, who is very gifted in the area of film and music. He looked at me and said,"I know why you stopped writing: FEAR." Well, he was right. I was afraid of putting myself out there on this level. I began praying against the spirit of fear, grabbed my laptop, sat down, and once again began to write. God poured this through me and every time I read it, I cry. That's how I know it came from Him. I am so honored that He has trusted me with this and I pray that it helps you with any of your struggles you are facing. Remember these few things: Nothing is too hard for the Lord, Everything that gets to you has to go through His hands first, and whatever struggle you face, Jesus already defeated it on the Cross!
