xDorris S. Woods, Ph.D., RN, CS, is a community mental health specialist. As a former associate professor, she lectured on psychiatry/mental health in the Department of Health and Human Services, California State University at Long Beach.
Dr. Woods has conducted workshops on in-patient adolescent therapy, studies into suicide, and has written numerous articles on child abuse, child safety and adolescent suicide.
