A young couple, Spensley and Rosina Bailey, set out for a new life in a new location. Driving where ever the road will take them, they come across road construction which unknowingly directs them down a dead end road. There they find an abandoned farmhouse, with the electricity still on. Surprised by their good fortune, and eager for a rest-stop, they check out their surroundings and find themselves feeling right at home.
