He is trained in the Orton Gillingham Multi-Sensory approach to learning including training in the behavior of children with AD/HD. He has a Masters Degree in Special Education, and he is an advocate for children and parents' rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He is a member of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), and he is a member of CHADD (a national resource on AD/HD).
