Building Skills With Precision: The Power Of Measurable Instructional Design (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798337855301)

Building effective learning programs is the core expertise of L&D teams. Program success hinges on program design. Well-designed programs yield job-related skills; poorly designed ones do not. Measuring the influence of design decisions demonstrates the cause and effect between learning and business outcomes.

The professional skill of instructional design is often underrated. Without understanding this expertise, stakeholders outside L&D dictate the time, format, learning approach, assessments, and delivery methods for learning programs. This loss of control leads to inferior outcomes and diminishes the value and reputation of L&D.

Measuring instructional design effectiveness is the only way for L&D to regain control of their value. Measurable Instructional Design (MID) generates design analytics that allow L&D to define learning outcomes, the methods used to achieve them, and show credible evidence of learning's impact.

MID produces tangible business outcomes by aligning learning with business needs and building job-related capabilities. Unlike traditional models, MID standardizes methods and enables easy measurement of business results.

Unlock the full potential of your learning programs with MID. This book will guide you through its principles, processes, and benefits, giving you control and ensuring your learning initiatives produce measurable business outcomes.
