Building the Marriage You Want (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9798887821382)

"We're busy. We're exhausted. There's just no time for us."

"We're more like roommates than spouses."

"We just . . . grew apart."

When you said, "I do," you had a mental picture of what your marriage would be. You expected some better. You even expected some worse.

But most of us never expect to be stuck somewhere in the middle--losing each other between the job, the kids, the calendar, and that one never-ending argument over the towels on the bathroom floor. We're exhausted and lonely and disconnected.

But your marriage doesn't have to stay that way.

In Building the Marriage You Want, Dr. John Delony paints a new picture of what it means to be married well and shows you the path to get there. Not through some fix-your-marriage-quick formula, but through the four specific things every person needs in a marriage:

To be seen.

To be known.

To be celebrated.

To be challenged.

When you learn to focus on the Four Needs of Marriage, your marriage changes. You don't have to wait for things to slow down or for your spouse to get with the program. You get to go first--and John will show you how.

It starts with understanding the Four Needs. Then you'll learn a totally new playbook for communication and conflict to help you see, know, celebrate, and challenge your spouse across even the most tension-filled topics: sex, money, and life with kids.

By the end of the book, you'll be ready to stop managing your marriage and start building one you truly want, together. Connected. All-in. Ride or die.

The marriage you want starts here.
