Robin Kittrell wrote her first poem in 1978 for her high school's Black History Month celebration. "Being Black with Pride and Dignity", was garnered with first place honors. Her poem "In His Presence" was her first published piece. Faith inspired, she incorporated hope and divinity in her short story "And the Angel Played With the Cat" and is currently working on her first fiction novel. She resides in Hollywood, California, a photographer, a pop artist; she marries her love of visual art with her passion for the written word.
