I am a seventy-one year old man, retired after 23 years as an Aircraft Interior Designer and Liaison Aircraft Engineer. My wife, Linda and I have been married for fifty years with three children and five grand children. We live in Bryant, Arkansas. I graduated from Little Rock Central High School. My wife and I travel to the Ouachita National Mountains often staying at the family owned cabin next to the wilderness area. That cabin and surrounding area is the basis for this book. Sometimes we stay close to Mena, Arkansas with Linda's relatives, just a short drive to the cabin. My interests include traveling, cruises, deer hunting, wildlife cameras, riding four wheelers and four wheel drives vehicles. I use my video cameras for weddings and other video opportunities as a business. My hobbies since a young age revolved around art design, an example is the book cover designed and hand drawn by myself. Writing this, my first book is definitely new territory. It has proven to be difficult and frustrating to express myself with just words to form mental images and not use art to create a picture.
