He's sworn to survive the war and exact a deadly revenge ... on his own father...

Texas, the 1860s

The Civil War is raging across America, and Thomas Carey is a prisoner, held captive by the Union. But the Confederate cause means nothing to Thomas now.

After shooting his way out of prison camp, he falls in with the notorious Quantrill's Raiders, blazing a trail of murderous revenge across the country. But the only cause Thomas really cares about is the vengeance he seeks against the man who wants him dead ... his own father, William Carey.

Since learning that his father sent Zeb - the hired gun who brutally attacked Thomas's wife Helen - to kill Thomas, the hunger for revenge has burned inside him.

As Quantrill leads a bloody attack on Lawrence, Kansas, Thomas takes the opportunity to escape. But now he's alone, travelling through open country where death and danger lurk at every turn...

Can Thomas make it home alive amidst flying bullets and arrows? And if he gets there, will the final reckoning be the way he's imagined it for so long?

Just when Thomas is almost home and dry, could fate be about to deliver the worst blow yet?

Featuring real-life characters and events from the American Civil War, CAREY'S VENGEANCE is a gripping historical tale of bloodshed and retribution in a divided nation.
