ABOUT THE AUTHOR Author and award-winning photographer, Genevieve Ruth, hails from the Great Northwest. She has held several certifications in the medical and dental fields, has a background in communications, and has spent the majority of her professional career in executive administration. After her husband, Nate, spent three months in a hospital ICU with heart complications (and ultimately required a transplant), she was inspired with purpose, and has since been advocating the critical importance of organ donation registration.
