Cathi and Katrina: Adventure in Old Economy Village (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781523205516)

Alicia Stankay is a writer living in Ambridge, PA, and her writing journey began when she was twelve. She wrote her first book, The Riddle of the Missing Rings, in a black-and-white composition notebook. That story is still preserved with the black crayon mark circles and purple scribbles of her younger brother and sisters. She went on to publish children's short stories, which appeared in several magazines, including Highlights for Children, Pockets, and Story Friends. After publishing two books of short stories and a novel for adults, she returned to her love of writing stories for younger readers. The local living history museum became the inspiration of her book, Cathi and Katrina: Adventure in Old Economy Village. Alicia's love of photography has filled her walls with photos of her four young grandchildren, along with many nature photos of butterflies, flowers, and colorful mushrooms.
