She was Born On the Island in Galveston and grew up in Fort Worth. Robin bounced along for many years as an Agnostic Episco-tarian, but she never found her place in either half of that equation. After a long personal and communal journey, Robin completed her conversion to Judaism in 2014. She regards her conversion as the only definite, conscious choice of her life. And there's so much more to learn. Robin has been writing poetry since she tripped over a short poem of William Carlos Williams's in 7th grade.
