Central Maintenance (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781456302894)

Aaron Walderman was born in 1949 and grew up a true baby boomer. He lived in a planned community. The front door was only locked when the family went on vacation. He knew every kid on the street, all essentially the same age. Technology was never a factor in growing up, it was a textbook life. In the 60's things changed. The high school experience was completely different from anything before. The music and the culture evolved into a revolution. He had a different outlook and started to question much. He also began to write things down. He wrote poems and then just kept taking notes. He started a serious journal in the mid 1960's and has written it daily since. In 1969 he attended university in Ohio and spent two years there before returning to Toronto to complete his education. A book of short stories, "Stories I Told My Sons" was published in 2009. He married very young at 22 and divorced 4 years later. Busy with all that was going on he could not settle down. He owned two businesses and then went back to school. He then began a long career in Engineering and Facility Management. Remarried in the mid eighties, this time it lasted about 9 years. He has two sons who he raised as a single parent. They are both pursuing professional careers. Now retired, he balances his time with writing, spending time with his sons and doing what strikes him.
