Trina E. Dorrah, MD, MPH, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who currently practices at Baylor Scott & White Health in Round Rock, Texas. After earning her medical degree from Vanderbilt University, she completed her residency in internal medicine and her master's degree in public health from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in quality improvement through the VA National Quality Scholars program.

Dr. Dorrah's passion for quality improvement and the patient experience led her to become the regional medical director of quality for the Baylor Scott & White Health hospital in Round Rock, Texas. In addition to her current book, CGCAHPS & HCAHPS Breakthrough: Coaching Health Care Providers for Success with the Patient Experience, Dr. Dorrah is also the author of Physician's Guide to Surviving CGCAHPS & HCAHPS.
