Chasing a Melody (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9783911675338)

Melody has spent her entire adult life running from feelings. Hers and other people's. She's jumped from one job, town-and part-time lover-to the next. Now she's about to break the habit of a lifetime and take a job in a town where she's already worked before. Yes, she left there in a hurry last time. But that's all in the past and no one's even going to remember her from back then, right?

Gray's job at an animal shelter in Eagle Cove is their dream come true. And after struggling for years with discovering their true self, they finally know who they are. Their last relationship was a disaster, and they're quite happy to do the let's-just-hookup thing with the occasional visitor to the small town.

When Melody and Gray first meet, there's an instant spark. One they're both happy to have some fun with. Just fun. No strings. And absolutely no feelings.

Except, as Eagle Cove and its inhabitants work their magic, suddenly running from place to place isn't so appealing for Melody. And for Gray, the more time they spend with Melody, the more the idea of being single for the foreseeable future loses its shine.

The feelings are scary. It's tempting to deny them, or-in Melody's case-run from them.

But what if they didn't? What if they both faced up to how they really feel? What would happen then...?

This sapphic romance, book two in the Eagle Cove series, can be read as a standalone.
