In 2005 I found the book, The Divine Mentor by Wayne Cordeiro. I can say that as a student of the Word, I was ready, hungry, and thirsty. I have faithfully applied his plan for over eighteen years.

One is a vicarious lifestyle, the other requires digging, effort, and personal engagement with the Holy Spirit. One is a compilation of someone's thoughts about a text.
