In her former career, Jax Hix was a scientist who published research, science fiction stories and poetry. She is still a geek and lives in Washington with her Blonde Spouse, Human and Furry Children and many plants. Jax has been writing, drawing, and performing music since early childhood. Her nonfiction book, Suburban Farming, will be available in 2012. She continues to write novels.
