Take a look at the picture on the front of the book. That was me on the far right-hand corner being dragged by a group of students to the museum of natural sciences. Some had never been there and were eager about the content they would learn. When we think of learning, we often associate it with teachers and being in school. Well ladies and gentlemen, learning does not begin and end in a brick-and-mortar classroom. The opportunity to learn lessons are always available, we just have to take the time to recognize them. This book developed from me taking time to reflect on different life lessons I have learned in the workplace, volunteer environment and beyond.
