Claw and Covenant (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781971084589)

From the Soska sisters--Claw and Covenant: a pact made in blood, a creature bound by ancient law, and the team Sydnee Bloodruth builds from both. Art by Megan Mushi.

Fresh off the events of Bloodruth #3 (10/13/26), Sydnee Bloodruth isn't done--and she isn't walking into what's coming alone. Claw and Covenant is the story of how Sydnee gathers her companions: a thief of shadows, a hellian bound by covenant, and the blood-magic bargains that hold a team together when ancient law says it shouldn't exist at all. Every covenant has a cost. Sydnee pays in the only currency a Bloodruth carries.

A self-contained one-shot that bridges the conclusion of Sydnee's debut arc and her central role in the Rippaverse's first major crossover event, Exclave (beginning 11/03/26)--the team she builds here is the team she brings with her. Sydnee Bloodruth was created by Eric July; the Soskas have written her from issue #1--the horror voice behind Yaira, The Cursed, and The Hellbound Stagecoach, working the corner of the line where monsters negotiate and bargains bite back.

From Jen Soska and Sylvia Soska, with interior art by Megan Mushi and colors by Rohvel Yumul. On sale 10/20/26.
