Hellanna is a poet and spoken word artist; she has had various speaking engagements in the domains of her local community. God and family has always been her first vocation. Hellanna discovered her love for writing as a teenager, she says, "I spent most of my college years hanging out in bookstores and libraries; consuming a brain full of information from different books. I'd read books from across many genres but my favorite is a good grammatical read". She credits the library and her college experiences for enhancing her writing ideas.
