J. Fred Davis is a man of curiosity. He was born in Tennessee and raised on the Georgia Coast. His twenty-six year FBI carreer was spent in the field and at FBI Headquarters. He captured kidnappers, bank robbers, extortionists, jewel thieves, narcotics smugglers and white collar criminals. In the field, he trained police officers in investigative techniques and small arms, was a SWAT Team Sniper and hostage negotfiator/instructor. He is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Sons of the American Revolution and is active in numerous organizations. Although his undergraduate degree is in political science and his masters in public administration, it is his curiosity about human behavior with years of experience dealing with criminals, that led him to write Mysteries and Thrillers.
