Donnette Wright-Myrie is a Lecturer at the University of the West Indies in Nutrition, Biochemistry and Diet Therapy. She is also the author of books-Computations in Nutrition: a guide to health care workers as well as several scholarly articles on nutrition and health. She is an academic editor for the Academic Journal Series. She is a registered nurse and is completing post graduate work in nursing and nutrition. She is married and is the proud mother of a gregarious and candid son. She dedicates her work to activities related to the Millenium Development Goals particularly number 1; to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger. Her work is situated in improving epidemiological outcomes through nutritional interventions.
