Concerto For Three Pianos (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789699295348)

A vast fortune in diamonds, bequeathed to Oleg, the son of Tsarist aristocrat Duke Sergei Kalinikov Petrovich and his wife Vorislava, is smuggled out of Iran on the Turkish border in the late 70s. They end up with Nejib Kartal, the well-to-do President of Kartal Industries. As his industrial empire starts having one accident after another almost driving him to bankruptcy, it becomes obvious, however, that there are some dark forces claiming the fortune.

Enter Umberto Galati, representative of an international cartel, who poses a very simple solution to the Turkish industrialist's problems. Deliver the diamonds in the United States and he will live and prosper forever after. How is Nejib Kartal going to do so? His famous classmate, now a global impresario, represents a renowned but aging Armenian piano virtuoso with a younger wife. Can they be used?
