Connect the Network to the New Normal: Five Ways to Strengthen Multi-Vocational Leaders (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798351506708)

A common problem for network leaders is navigating how to serve this growing group of multi-vocational best. The reality is that this group isn't going to get any smaller; given the state of the church in North America, it's likely that these leaders will become the new model for ministry within the next ten years. Therefore it's all the more critical that network and denominational leaders begin to develop better ways to engage with this group of leaders, lest they miss out on the opportunity and negatively affect the long-term sustainability of the local network and denomination.

"The multi-vocational pastor movement is expanding rapidly. In Connect the Network to the New Normal, Chris Reinolds details the ways denominational and network leaders can engage this growing group of pastors. Read this practical book to understand how multi-vocational ministry is changing and what you can do to thrive in this new landscape."

-Sam Rainer, President of Church Answer, Co-Founder of Rainer Publishing, and President of Revitalize Network.

Read the book. Reinolds does a good job advocating about ministering more intentionally and effectively to multi-vocational pastors. Look forward to when this book comes out!

-Ray Gentry, President and CEO of the Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders (SBCAL)

"Reinolds captured the feeling of surprise that network leaders feel regarding the shifts of the prior decade that provoked many network leaders to despair. This book is a wonderful read and very practical for networks."

-Chris Crain, Executive Director of Birmingham Metro Baptist Association

"I read through the book twice. It is insightful and practical. I look forward to using it in the coming months."

-John Thomas, Missions Strategist of Southeast Alabama Baptist Association

"Very VALUABLE read! It addresses our greatest dilemma as a network, with 40 churches out of 71 being multi-vocational. Very practical and doable steps to better relate and add value to this overlooked segment of Kingdom work."

-Jeff Knight, Lead Mission Strategist of Tuscaloosa County Baptist Association

The future viability of church networks will be determined, in part, by how they support their bi-vocational, co-vocational, and multi-vocational ministers. Chris reminds us that this is not support for those 'lagging behind, ' but empowerment of those at the tip of the spear of God's mission to reach our communities. This book is a practical look at how a network can immediately increase their connection to and support for this growing population of ministers.
