Dr. Ellie Atkins is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who works with children, young people and families both within the NHS and in private practice. In the NHS she has a senior role working to develop psychologically informed care and compassion across 27 London hospitals. She is also the former chair of the children, young people and families network of the association of clinical psychologists (ACP-UK). Ellie is also parent to two brilliant children, one of which is diagnosed autistic and the other who is dyslexic and dyspraxic. Parenting them has been the biggest challenge and the most wonderful experience she has ever had.
