Having moved from Wisconsin to a resort in Wyoming as a youth, Zach Bigalke was raised by a father who had grown up following the exploits of the space race and developed a similar love of astronomy and rocketry. An American-Soviet summit held in Jackson Hole in his youth piqued his interest in the other side of Cold War politics. Bigalke, a freelance writer and editor who normally focuses on works of non-fiction, brings together the passions of his youth in this novel. He currently resides with his wife in Portland, Oregon.
