Meena Hariharan is the Founder Director of the Centre for Health Psychology, University of Hyderabad, India and retired as Professor in the Centre. She is the founder president of Association of Health Psychologists and Chief Editor of Indian Journal of Health Studies. She works in the fields of behavioural cardiology, ICU trauma, coping with non- communicable diseases, and resilience studies. Her 35 years' experience in counselling enabled her to contribute to this book.
Usha Chivukula teaches at the Centre for Health Psychology, University of Hyderabad, India. She works in the areas of psychosocial care in intensive care units, behavioural cardiology, community health psychology, and adolescent health. She serves as an executive member of Association of Health Psychologists and is an assistant editor of Indian Journal of Health Studies. She has experience of teaching and practicing counselling for over 20 years.
Meera Padhy teaches at the Centre for Health Psychology, University of Hyderabad, India. She has published extensively in the areas of health psychology, developmental psychology, and occupational health psychology. Her research interests include behavioural diabetology, occupational health, social support, leisure, and well- being. She has standardised several psychological tools.
