Poole's poetry is available under the title CHILDREN OF EVE. She has authored SUNDOG STORIES, a short story collection, and HOGAN THE HORSE BEDTIME TALES for children. Six of Poole's plays have been produced off-Broadway and in regional theater. Her writing has appeared in 25 books and journals. Poole owned and managed three businesses, Private Drawers, Barkley Dogs, and Word Doctor. Dr. Poole earned her PhD in English Language and Literature from TCU. She served as the director of the Deep South Writers Conference while teaching at Southwestern Louisiana University prior to taking a position at the State University of New York FIT in New York City. Her interests include ballet, karate, theater, and dogs.
