V. Shruti Devi is a political leader, a lawyer at the Supreme Court of India, an activist, writer-poet, and also happens to be the Princess of Kurupam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Born in Chennai and educated at Mater Dei School, New Delhi; B.A (Hons) in English Literature, St. Stephen's College, Delhi; LL.B., Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi; Diploma in Environmental Law, Centre for Environmental Law, WWF India, New Delhi, and was the India Visiting Environmental Law Fellow to California, USA, in 1998 Member of the Indian National Congress Party (INC).
