Thomas S. Poetter holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is an Associate Professor of Curriculum in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Poetter is the author or coauthor of numerous journal articles on curriculum, teacher education, teacher research, and school reform as well as several books including The Education of Sam Sanders (AuthorHouse, 2003).
