Linda Pietz learned to knit at the age of four and has spent more than forty years passing on her love of knitting and other crafts through classes and workshops. She designs patterns for Bucilla, Dimensions, Cat's Cradle, and other companies, and has been featured in several books, including Gourds + Fiber (978-1-60059-470-0). Linda co-authored Knitting Rugs (978-0-8117-1251-4) and has written articles for Rug Hooking magazine and other national magazines. She lives in northern California.
