The work at hand is the first English translation of a dialogue between Saint Cyril of Alexandria and Hermias the Priest on the Incarnation of the Only-Begotten Son. Saint Cyril of Alexandria's Dialogue on the Incarnation of the Only-Begotten, was first published in Greek in Migne's PG 75:1189-1253; and subsequently in critical edition and French translation by M. De Durand, Cyrille d'Alexandrie: Deux Dialogues Christologiques, Sources Crétiennes, v. 97 (Paris, 1964), pp.
188-301. In this dialogue, St. Cyril strongly refutes four erroneous doctrines. He fundamentally attacks from the beginning the notion of Christological dualism, persistently confessing Alexandrian Christology.
