The same may be said about four-year-old child's experience, whose father was arrested during the Stalin's regime and her entire family was kicked off from home into the dirty-snow street just in pajamas. Despite some chronicles, provided in the novel to highlight the historical context that affected Sasha's family and decision-making. The most stories are encouraging and full of exciting adventures. Stories include a variety of the romantic twists accompanied by the joyful creation of new relationships, sparks of love, self-establishment in a new land, and traveling. The novel arises a variety of philosophical questions about the life and shows that finding the new lease of life is quite possible while finding a variety of ways to raise ourselves from the ashes.
