Darkness to Empowerment: Finding Yourself Again After Sexual Abuse (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781764569309)

This book has been several years in the writing, yet a lifetime in the making.

Like a lot of other sexual abuse survivors, I have struggled my whole life with feelings of being somehow inadequate, lacking, low self-esteem and of being quiet.

This is a whole new adventure for me as I finally walk my walk and talk my talk.

As a natural introvert, putting myself out there for all to see is the most challenging thing I have ever done - until I think about my journey from sexual abuse victim to survivor.

The journey from darkness to empowerment is real, it is hard fought and it is extremely challenging. Yet when all is said and done it will also be the most rewarding, exciting, and amazing experience for you.

Speak your truth, no longer be silenced by your abuser - that is YOUR empowerment.

In this book I not only talk about my story and my journey, I give you the tools and knowledge I have learned over the past 45 years on how to find your empowerment again.

You can still be an introvert, as I most certainly am - however it is now all on your terms.

You now write your own story.

Are you ready to begin this with me? Or did you simply pick up this book for curiosity's sake or to help someone else who has been abused. Whatever your reason, I am here to help.
