Holden not only tells her story but she also takes it one step further and interviews other foster parents, foster children, and the Minister for Children & Families Minister themselves, and addresses the issues that need to be changed within the failing system and obtains possible solutions to the issues at hand. Daughter's Choice is an emotional but powerful read and a story that must be told.
