Dear Alicia (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798270848767)

Dear Alicia is a touching diary collection by twelve-year-old Gabrielle Jin, a ballet student from Shanghai. Written to her idol, ballerina Alicia Alonso, each entry reflects her journey in dance, poetry, and culture.

Through vivid stories, Gabrielle shares dreams, struggles, and reflections on beauty, resilience, and creativity. Blending Chinese poetry, Western drama, and global art, she builds a bridge between East and West.

At its heart, Dear Alicia is about courage, belief, and hope-the reminder that even fragile dreams can inspire and shine across cultures.
