Deep Dive Killer (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798235465022)

CHONLATEE INTARAT MYSTERIES

Book One: The Ninefold Curse of Nang Noi

A remote island resort. A monsoon that traps everyone inside. And a killer who's already claimed their first victim.

Former police detective Chonlatee Intarat came here to escape. But when a wealthy dive master is found dead, her pattern-seeking mind won't rest until it finds the truth.

Seven suspects. One hundred and seven unaccounted minutes. And a detective who counts everything-except the cost of getting involved.

The widow's grief is too perfect. The business partner's alibi has a hole. And someone in this paradise is lying about murder.

Chon sees patterns where others see chaos. But this time, the pattern might be a curse.

BookTwo: The Seventh Station

Nine banana leaves. Nine guests. One vengeful spirit who's been waiting seventy years for her ninth soul.

Chonlatee Intarat returns to the resort where she solved her first case-and finds a new nightmare waiting. Guests are dying of fright, local villagers won't go near the water, and every woman dreams of a figure in white asking the same question:

Where is my ninth?

The police call it natural causes. The superstitious whisper of Nang Noi, a woman drowned by the man who betrayed her.

Chon doesn't believe in ghosts. But the pattern is too perfect to ignore. And with her ex-MI6 great aunt Margaret offering "creative" advice and her brother's voice echoing in her head, she must find the truth before the killer claims their final victim.

Some curses aren't meant to be broken.

Some are meant to be solved.

The dead ask questions. The living tell lies.

And one detective sees the difference.
