Jessica Settergren was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 after a routine mammogram and spent the following year living through many of the worst experiences common to breast cancer survivors. She has been a practicing solitary pagan since 1996, studying Wiccan, Norse, Greek, and Irish traditions for worship, philosophy, and craft.
