Sissy Walker was a typical third grader, playing four square, going to the lake on the weekends, riding her bike. Until the day she visited an old Antebellum house in Columbia, SC. She had a strange feeling she had been there before. As soon as she hit the floor, she saw Sissy Walker of 1875, it was the most bizarre dream, when she awoke she tried to tell her parents about her strange dream. They dismissed it as nothing. Over the years Sissy would continue to have these strange episodes, each time she felt like she was watching a movie, each episode was always triggered by some antique or old object or picture. Finally, she meets someone she has seen in her dreams, Trick Sloan has been waiting twenty eight years for her. Read Sissy's story to see what happens when your past lives catch up to your present life. A love story two hundred years in the making.

Edee Courtney was born at the height of the Baby Boom, 1950, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She ended up a little fair haired Cracker girl in the predominantly Latino neighborhood of West Tampa, Florida in the early 60's, when her mother married her marvelous step-father. She contributes her love for writing to three people, her Junior High School English teacher Mr. Lindsay. Her High School English teacher, Mrs. Gail Gallagher, who encouraged her to keep a journal, and Mr. Buddy Tappe, who instilled in her a great love for Rod McKuen and modern poetry. Sunny, Marcus, Trebor and the rest of her characters were born from the pages of Edee's lifetime of journaling. Edee is married, and has four wonderful children and ten amazing grand-children. She worked for over thirty years in the music industry, and just recently retired and has pursued her lifelong dream of writing a book or four or five, about the characters she created years ago.
