He was formerly Assistant Professor with the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur, India. He has authored more than 100 research articles and book chapters. His research interests include power quality, power system planning, grid integration of renewable energy sources, FACTS devices, transmission line protection, and condition monitoring. He has received awards and honors for his work and was named an outstanding reviewer by Elsevier.
Hassan Haes Alhelou, PhD, is a faculty member with Tishreen University, Lattakia, Syria, and is also a Senior Researcher at the University College Dublin, Ireland. He is included in the 2018/2019 Publons list of the top 1% best reviewers and researchers in the field of engineering. He has published over 120 research papers in journals and international conferences. He has received awards for his work as a reviewer (providing over 600 reviews for IEEE journals and others) as well as a Best Young Researcher in the Arab Student Forum Creative.
