Dink and Daisy Wait For Grandpa: Love, Loyalty, and a Little Latitude (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798184924014)

Some dogs just know.

Little Dink knows the sound of the front door. He knows the sunny spot on the floor, the white car from the black car, and exactly how long to wait by the window for Grandpa to come home. Waiting is what Dink does best - with love, with loyalty, and with a joyful little cry the moment Grandpa's car turns up the drive.

But now there is a new puppy in the house.

Daisy is small. Daisy is new. And Daisy does not know any of it yet - not the sounds, not the safe place on the porch, not where she is supposed to wait. She makes a puddle. She carries off a slipper. She bounces the wrong way at the wrong time. And through it all, Grandma and Grandpa give her exactly what every growing little one needs: a little latitude - a little room, a little patience, and a little grace while she learns.

As Dink takes Daisy under his wing, showing her how to watch, how to wait, and how to welcome Grandpa home, two small dogs discover one big truth about loving each other. Love cares deeply. Loyalty stays true. And latitude gives grace while someone is still growing... the way God so kindly gives it to us.

Dink and Daisy Wait for Grandpa is the third tender story in The Adventures of Dink & Daisy - Tails of God's Love, a heartwarming series of faith-filled picture books inspired by two real little dogs and the family who loves them. With soft, warm watercolor illustrations and a gentle read-aloud rhythm, it is a story little ones will ask for again and again - and a lesson their hearts will carry long after the last page.

Inside this book you will find:

• A sweet, funny, true-to-life story about welcoming someone new and learning to share a home full of love
• Beautiful, tender watercolor artwork on every single page
• A heartfelt closing lesson on love, loyalty, and latitude
• Scripture verses from the King James Version to read, share, and remember together
• A companion children's song, "Love, Loyalty, and a Little Latitude," from the album Songs for Little Hearts: Dink & Daisy and Friends
