A Collection of short stories in various genres: comedy, tragedy, and satire. Brought to life are nondescript characters that capture the qualities of every one of us. Whether well-to-do, or down and out, each day brings new challenges to our protagonists. Enjoy a variety of settings whether an old vaudevillian looking for work, a suicidal doctor, or a father whose daughter has her own ideas about the rules of baseball; each in their own way prevail. Join the bride and groom at a Courthouse wedding, observe a surrealistic Federal Court, and witness a committee of clerics charged with creating a secular prayer. The family dog is not forgotten as one story sees events from Bullet's point of view. Whether on a space walk, or in a great music hall listening to the final concert of a violin virtuoso, the visual images will remain long after the stories are read. Hop aboard and enjoy Doc's Leisure Reader: Commuter tales and bedtime stories.
