Michael R. Mantell, Ph.D., is an admired behavior science coach, long-time psychologist, author and keynote speaker who is known for getting to the root of issues quickly and helping people create action plans that get results. Since then, he has been a guest on television and radio shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Nightline, Larry King Live, and Good Morning America, serving as a regular behavioral science contributor. He also writes for and is frequently interviewed by fitness and health magazines, including Shape, Men's Health, Women's Health, and Weight Watchers Magazine. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania and his M.S. at Hahnemann Medical College, where he wrote his thesis on the psychological aspects of obesity.
