Ben McLellan is a songwriter. He was born in London Ontario in 1979 and spent his youth in nearby Goderich. He has spent a considerable amount of time in Detroit and has had a enduring connection with the city. Ben is both a carpenter and a writer by trade, though holds a ticket only as the former. Ben has travelled from his hometown on Lake Huron to Northern Canada, the West Coast, and into the United States, taking his songs and singing them along the way. He has taken them to Great Britain and Western Europe, to the Dubai and to Mauritius in East Africa. The songs and writings in this book are a reflection of his view of the world upon his return. This is Ben's second book; the first was called 'Goderich Town'.
